A Sunday in SF

To start the day, we joined Clement, Pau Din and Andrea at the Koi Palace in Daly City, the best Dim Sum in the whole Bay Area! A very long line was ahead of us...
For the first time, I tried Chicken Feet Chicken... and I am not sure if I will ever try it again...
The chicken feet are fried first in order to make them puffy before being boiled and marinated, usually in black bean sauce.
It is mainly composed of skin and tendons, without much muscle. It was so weird to eat this part of a chicken, with the bones resisting under your teeth... Being mostly cartilage, chicken feet are also very gelatinous. Some folk medicine traditions claim that chicken feet can prevent or treat wrinkles, due to their high collagen content.

Then, we attended for the first time this Euro Meet up at the Presidio Golf Course Clubhouse Cafe in San Francisco. Nice way to do some networking and meet people from everywhere with different backgrounds.

We finished the day with a succulent dinner at a Chinese Restaurant San Tung on the excellent recommendation of Thien. They are famous for their fried chicken and it is deserved. Again, the wait was long but it was worthing it.
This sunday was a whole chinese food day experience!
